SEIFSA Celebrates Excellence in the Metals & Engineering Sector

The 10th SEIFSA Awards for Excellence honoured the companies and individuals driving progress in South Africa’s Metals and Engineering Sector. The event recognised achievements in innovation, skills development, sustainability, leadership and community impact.

A highlight of the evening was the Lifetime Achievement Award presented to industry visionary Henk Duys of the Duys Engineering Group. Two sector trailblazers — Nicolette Skjoldhammer (Betterect) and Pam du Plessis (Invincible Valves) — were celebrated as Businesswomen of the Year.

Winners also included leaders in customer service, artisan training, advanced manufacturing, environmental stewardship, youth entrepreneurship, health and safety and humanitarian work -demonstrating a sector committed to growth and positive impact.
